Program IV / Resounding Resistance Through this special program, members of the Students’ Platform wish to create and foster a space for those who find themselves in the complex conditions of threat, violence, and dislocation, yet continue to craft works under those compromised circumstances. The selected works emerge as individual reactions and narratives that position themselves within the collective and strive for the visibility of unheard voices from their specific local contexts. The films embody these principles while considering different geographical contexts, historical periods and modes of resistance and resilience. Through their lenses, they offer insights into personal, everyday struggles and the navigation of these challenges, demonstrating that resilience is practiced and expressed through various actions. Resounding Resistance aspires for the transformation of individual acts of resistance into strengthened collective responses, thereby expanding the Students’ Platform as a space of solidarity and community against exclusion, forgetting and silencing.
