A video record­ing from spring, 2011 in Nashik, India: A girl is play­ing with her broth­er in the holy waters of the Godavari River. They are play­ing very dif­fer­ent­ly, the boy and the girl. And then a clash with total­ly dif­fer­ent sounds and images: Orpheus and Heur­te­bise are cross­ing Hades in Jean Cocteau‘s ORPHEE from 1949. Using var­i­ous cin­e­mat­ic maneu­vers, the chil­dren seem to respond to the film takes.
