The eating and sleeping room of a family, a cow with her head stuck in a milk churn, the washing of a person’s hair, a hungry and tired child in a yurt: a strong poem of moving pictures, made up from fragments of a hard but rich life. The director spent more than a month living in a herdman’s family. They got used to have the camera around them: »I wanted to shoot everything spontaneously without having worked out anything before, without lies.«
