In 1972 an earthquake destroyed Managua, the capital of Nicaragua. Many people died and even more lost their homes. The Cathedral of Managua only survived as ruins; there was no divine service anymore. In the following years it became a meeting place in a completely different way. Juan, the old man, silently tells the story of the people who temporarily found a refuge for their dreams. »We are many – cheerful, loving, sad ones, solitarians, eternal visitors seeking for lost passions.«
