Through the story of a single family, THE NAKBA ACROSS GENERATIONS explores the lasting impact of the Nakba and the inherited trauma of exile. Blending personal narratives, historical events, and evocative elements like food, music, and archival material, the film examines how members of the Palestinian diaspora navigate identity and try to reconnect with their roots.

Nour is a Liberal Arts student at the University College in Freiburg. Born in France, she grew up between there and Jordan, shaped by a multicultural and multilingual environment that equipped her with valuable tools for adult life. Deeply passionate about art and photography, she chose to blend her cultural heritage with creative expression, resulting in an archival, personal film on the Nakba and the question of exile.
