At 7 o’clock in the morning, the Elektrichka, a wooden-class train, sets off from Tbilisi (Georgia) to Borjomi, 150 km away. The wind whistles through the painless windows. The train stops at every village, giving passengers time to do business, play cards with friends, or chat about past loves along the way. There are no seats in the cheaper class, conveniently leaving plenty of room to dance for your friends. Luckily, the faster connection isn’t ready yet, so the Elektrichka doesn’t reach its destination until five hours later.
